Location

Madeira is a Portuguese charming island in the north Atlantic Ocean about 250 miles north of the Canary Islands and about 350 miles from Morocco, you can get here by plane.

With incredible natural pools carved out of lava rocks, gorgeous cliffs overlooking the ocean, charming towns and a balmy weather: average air temperature: 25ºC in the summer and 17ºC in the winter, average sea temperature: 22ºC in the summer and 18ºC in the winter.

Blessed by a unique nature environment the Island offers special conditions for outdoor activities, including hiking, mountain biking, canyoning, trail running, swimming, snorkeling, diving and nautical sports. Madeira is also full of levadas, a system of stone irrigation channels that transport water from the mountains, great for hiking trails.

Caniço

Located on the south coast of the island, Caniço is strategically located between the airport and the main city - Funchal, only a short drive away from both. Bathed by the Atlantic Ocean on the south and mountainous to the north, this small city offers the best of two worlds. From the built heritage of Caniço you will find the statue of the Heart of Jesus (Christ the King) at the tip of Garajau, the Fort of Atalaia de São Sebastião and “Reis Magos” Fort.
